Who ever would have thought that someone like me could end up not working anymore for a publisher and all their snotty agents and decide that maybe, just maybe, self publishing is the BEST OPTION for writers out there.

I have been working for the same publisher as their Editor for 3 years now and is quite responsible for the countless of authors we have had made millions of.  Their works are yes, exemplary, interesting and marketable enough to the general audience.

The thing is, we absolutely have NO idea who else is out there slaving over a novel, a manuscript, and a manual on something more worthwhile. Countless of authors, too, are stuck in a rut just because our publishers rejected manuscript after manuscript.

Tsk. How sad. If you are a writer, an author, or a poet, and if you happen to believe so much in your work – there are LOTS of options for you especially if you do things your own way.

Let us help one another. Spread the love.

  1. Here, here!! I’m all for that!

  2. This looks like a fascinating blog. I’m currently trying to find an agent and even finding one isn’t a guarantee of eventual publication. It’s a slightly complex situation. A top agent in London read my first novel twice and asked one of her colleagues to take a look at it as well. The agent thought the story had much potential, but she said I would need to work with an editor if she is to read it again. And, as everyone knows, editors cost money and we’re in the middle of a recession at the moment.

I’ve written two novels, both thrillers, and am considering self-publication, although I would prefer to go down the more conventional route of finding a mainstream publisher. I would certainly be interested in any advice on the matter, as I see you’ve worked in the publishing industry.

  3. I am spreading the same gospel! Spread the love.

  4. Thanks for all your lovely comments :)
